VETERAN'S DAY - EXPENDABLE ELITE
Some three years ago, a friend told me about a great American, and the author of a new book entitled Expendable Elite. After several exchanges with Lt. Col. Daniel Marvin (Ret), I received my copy of Expendable Elite, and eagerly read it.
I was amazed to find out that many publishers had refused to print his story. Col. Marvin had no desire to make money, he just wanted the truth told about an uncomfortable time in America's history.
I was appalled to discover that instead helping a people, like we promised, we effectively abounded them at the worst possible moment. Col. Marvin described the details of his mission to Vietnam, telling of the operations he conducted, and his love for the Vietnamese people.
Needless to say, I was more than happy to write a review for Col. Marvin, as I wanted people to read his story. i posted it on the old version of the Swamp Fox Files, which had a different name, and different url in those days. That has been 3 years.
Today is Veteran's Day, and I can think of no better way to honor a great American hero, than to feature his book here on the Swamp Fox Files.
If you have never read Expendable Elite, then I highly recommend that you buy a copy. If you know a Veteran, especially a Vietnam Veteran, buy this book for them. If you want a better understanding of the messed up way this country conducts its foreign policy, then read this book!

RISE NOW!!!
I have often wondered what it felt like to have your country taken away from you. I now wonder if this is how my ancestors felt when "they drove ole Dixie down."
What we have witnessed here is a complete defeat in the current cultural war that has been waged on us. Perhaps the word "current" is not correct. Beginning in 1861, war has been waged against our culture and way of life. The right of the free states to be self-governed has long since passed.
We, as a society, have been brainwashed into believing that the cause of the South was unjust. We have been told that the conflict was about slavery. Actually, it was not about slavery. When a centralized federal government attempts to control every aspect of your life, and you subsequently surrender to this tyranny, then you are no longer free. And that my friends is the true legacy of Stone Wall Jackson and those who fought with him. Whether they were "right or wrong" is not the point. The point is that they were free. They took up arms and died in the same manner in which they lived: free.
In light of seeing a man elected President by illegitimate means (ACORN signing up fraudulent voters, and the fact that Obama cannot prove his citizenship), I will demonstrate my protest by proudly displaying the banner of the Stars and Bars. I do this not because the banner represents slavery but rather freedom. Just like the Stars and Stripes, the Stars and Bars represents your right to self governance. The "Rebel" flag is protected free speech. This protected right is granted by God Himself in the land that flies the Stars and Stripes.
So rise again Ole Dixie!!!
