GOP IS FAR FROM CONSERVATIVE

GOP Debaters Pile On Paul
By Craig Crawford

After all, the Republican Party is so far removed from its roots in pure conservatism that GOP leaders not only refuse to make room for Paul, but go out of their way to ridicule the anti-government maverick and his loyalists. As a third party force, Paul ...[would] probably hurt Republicans the most by attracting don’t-tread-on-me economic conservatives. And then the GOP might not consider him such a joke.

ALIPAC INTERVIEWS RON PAUL

Ron Paul Interview about Illegal Immigration with ALIPAC's William Gheen in New Hapshire

BUSH CALLS FOR AN END TO THE 'OCCUPATION'

Yes, you read that right. The Supreme Defender of the Christian Faith, not to mention the Supreme Defender of Judaism and Islam, called for Israelis to end their "occupation" of Palestinian territory". So much for Dubya being "pro-Israel".

Yet, I wonder, how many Christians in America will continue to defend George W. Bush? How many of those who claim to be Bible-believing Baptists like myself will continue to defend Bush? Far, far too many.

This makes what I have stated for a while, and what Presidential candidate Ron Paul has stated on numerous occasions as well - that the money America 'gives" Israel every year is only hurting Israel. George Bush, like Bill Clinton, and Bush I before him, only use those millions of dollars as blackmail. The Neo-cons and their NWO allies use that money to force their hands into making decisions that will complete their globalist agenda. It has absolutely nothing to do with helping and "ally", or protecting "democracy" in the Middle East.

When will we finally stop listening to Bush's lies, and see him for what he really is? He has given us hundreds of examples in the past seven years (actually more if you count his years as Texas governor) of what he he is, just like this one. Yet, we continue to fall for his charade when he "speaks to us".

Conservative political pundit labels Huckabee a 'Christian socialist'
Chad Groening OneNewsNow.com

"Mike Huckabee is a good man, but in my opinion he is a Christian socialist," says Viguerie. "He's got a big government heart. He believes that every time you have a problem [or there's] a need that people have, that we need another government program."

RON PAUL UPDATES 1/8/08

The Jefferson of Our Time
by Thomas J. DiLorenzo

In reality, Grover Cleveland was the last American president who actually believed in Jeffersonian principles of government and was even moderately successful in implementing them (he vetoed literally hundreds of pieces of legislation). It’s been almost 120 years since a genuine Jeffersonian has been a major candidate for the highest office in the land, but we finally have in our midst the genuine item – the real deal – in the person of Ron Paul.

WHAT DO REPUBLICANS REALLY WANT?
By Chip McLean NewsWithViews.com

There was a time not so very long ago when the party of Reagan was far more coherent in their beliefs. There was a time when limited government conservatism was the prevailing philosophy within the GOP, or at least it was with most of those who voted for Republicans. Most who voted for Republicans, saw government – as Reagan did - not as the solution but as the problem.

IS HILLARY ABOUT TO DROP OUT?

January 7, 2007 - Today, Hillary Clinton appeared fatigued, emotional and discouraged before her supporters. She even seemed to hint that she may be withdrawing her bid for the White House - but not before "Super Tuesday" next month.

New polls are indicating that Barack Obama has a considerable lead over the former front-running Clinton. It appears that the important New Hampshire primary tomorrow may be the push he needs to secure the nomination. However, Obama and Clinton both agree it's too early to say that yet.

Clinton choked up while making a campaign stop in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Similar displays of emotion have ended costing other candidates their party's nomination in previous elections.

Clinton has vowed to stay in the Democratic race at least until "Super Tuesday" on February 5. Could this be a hint by the former First lady that her campaign will be ending soon, and that she knows it?

A lot is riding on tomorrow's events. Should Clinton rebound in New Hampshire, and at least finish a close second, then her political fortunes will make a turn around. Such an outcome will probably lead to a close fight on "Super Tuesday".
