Christians need to beware of Mike Huckabee. He is not a conservative. Even worse, he is not a constitutionalist. He is an opportunist, however. This is demonstrated by the fact that many of his supporters are openly posturing (with Huckabee's consent, obviously) for an opportunity to run Huckabee as a potential Vice Presidential candidate with either Giuliani or Romney at the top of the ticket.
Let me ask the reader something. How could a principled pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, pro-Constitution conservative be willing to run on a ticket with a liberal presidential candidate such as Rudy Giuliani or Mitt Romney? That's right, he couldn't.
I say again, beware of Mike Huckabee!

Today, many seem to feel that public schools are failing because of the poor educational quality being turned out. And from these schools comes the ever-increasing cry--"give us more money so we can produce "quality education" for the kids." Sorry folks, but it's all a lot of rot. What we have to begin to come to grips with is the fact that, from day one, public or govt. schools were never intended to truly educate children. They were and are nothing but indoctrination centers for the humanists and political leftists and until we start taking our kids and seceding from the govt. school system they will get no real education, rather they will be thoroughly indoctrinated into the new world order system.
In the South after the War of Northern Aggression public schools were introduced as part of the "reconstruction" program of the Yankees. Before that they were hardly known in the South.
I have noted, over the years, that public schools were started as a protest against Christian and church schools in New England in the 1830s and that they were organized by Unitarians, had the support of socialists, and evangelical Christians, who should have known better, were conned into supporting them as a defense against the influence of foreign immigration. And the Christians today are continuing to perpetuate the same gross errors, somehow thinking these schools represent God, motherhood and apple pie.
Years ago Zach Montgomery, assistant attorney general of the United States wrote a little book dealing with the effects of public education in this country. He showed, via statistics, that every state that had adopted compulsory public education for any amount of time had higher crime rates and higher suicide rates than was evident in those states that had had public education for a much shorter period.
Indeed, there has been so much material published about the true intent of public schools over the years that there is no excuse for the Christians and patriotic folks to keep feeding their kids into this miserable system unless they be willfully ignorant of what it is really all about. How much easier to feed our kids into the humanist meat grinder and then sit back and complain when we don't like the results! If you want your kids educated in a Christian manner then you need to get them out of govt. schools and teach them at home. Then you are responsible for whatever theology and history they learn. Unfortunately the concept of parental responsibility seems to be one most Christians shrink from today--and then they wonder why the country is on the skids.

LIBERTY DOLLAR ON TRIAL
The most serious threat to the Liberty Dollar is set to take place in a small town in Wisconsin. An unusual set of circumstances, small town cronyism and a seemingly bias "legal" system has conspired to railroad a young couple for offering Liberty Dollars in trade. The one thing I know is that Shawn Kranish is a very well informed supporter of the Liberty Dollar and would never misrepresent the Liberty Dollar. Of course that does not mean the police cannot trick a witness into misrepresenting the facts and convicting these two young brave monetary patriots.

Shaun and Svetlana (Lana) Kranish were both arrested, after Shaun offered both Liberty Dollars and Federal Reserve Notes to an outdoor ice cream stand in the Village of Walworth. Shaun and Lana spend the night in jail (Lana in solitary confinement). The next day their family spent over $5,000 to get them out and recover their minivan.
Misdemeanor charges of "theft", "false representation", and "as a party to a crime" were lodged against Shaun and Lana. In an attempt to secure their safety from the state, they hired two separate attorneys that raised the total costs to nearly $12,000 for attempting to use a few Liberty Dollars at three stores. The Liberty Dollars were happily accepted at the two other businesses, but were frowned upon at the ice cream stand. So instead of accepting Liberty Dollars or U.S. dollars that were also offered at the Dari Ripple/Drive-In in Walworth, Wisconsin, Shaun and Lana were arrested.
Lana, an immigrant from Russia, wasn't even present when Shaun offered the Liberty Dollar in exchange for inexpensive food. And although she had no part in any transactions, she is now unable to become a US citizen due to the ongoing prosecution. Shaun and Lana have offered to give the three businesses US Dollars in exchange for the silver but that does not appear to be enough for Walworth, Wisconsin. Now, Shaun and Lana must pay thousands to fight these charges with the hope to be found innocent and avoid jail sentences. All this over three exchanges valued at less than $15!

THE DUMBEST GENERATION?
Tom Brokaw has called the WWII generation the "greatest generation". While I do not deny that the WWII were great people, and did some great things (defeating Hitler was no small feat, nor taking out the Japanese Empire), they were not the greatest generation. Before you go tearing me apart for that statement, both my maternal and paternal grandparents were members of the WWII generation.
The greatest generation, in my estimate, was the Revolutionary generation. Had there not been a generation that fought for independence against all odds, then there never would have been a WWII generation. But, alas, that is another topic for another aticle at another time.
This current generation - mine - is doing its dead-level best to raise the dumbest generation it appears. While proof has been presented time and time again by men like RC Murray, most choose to either ignore their evidence or ridicule them.

That was my thought after picking up the Monroe, Louisiana newspaper the other day and reading an article on the front page that stated that the "New Black Panthers" are coming to Jena, Louisiana to patrol the streets to keep the Jena 6 and their families secure from alleged Ku Klux Klan threats. My second thought was that the good folks in Jena, both white and black are just going to love that! I wondered if the police might try to keep them out as a possible disruptive influence, and then I thought, no, that probably won't happen. It wouldn't be politically correct to do that. Now if they happened to be an outfit called "The White Panthers" you can be sure they would be denied access to the streets of Jena, but the Black Panthers probably won't--"racism" and all that, you know.
