As reported in part I of MR#14, I had written the military commanders of the Army War College, the Command & General Staff College, West Point Service Academy and the Special Operations Command. Having received no response by 1 August 2007 I wrote follow-up letters to MG David H. Hutton, Jr. (War College Commandant), General Bryan Brown (CG of the US Special Operations Command) who has since been replaced by Admiral Eric T. Olson, LTG Franklin L. Hagenbeck (West Point Superintendent), and MG William B. Caldwell IV (CG US Army Combined Arms Center). Thus far none of these ranking officers have responded. Only Colonel Thomas W. Weafer, Assistant Deputy Commandant of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College has written what I consider to be a letter of little value inasmuch as he does not relate to actions taken by the Commanding General in response to my communications with him of 16 June 2007 and 1 August 2007: all to do with our government's aiding the enemy and the killing of our own personnel.
To let you know exactly how I reacted to Colonel Weafer's letter of 3 August 2007, I will now follow with the content of my 19 August 2007 response to Colonel Weafer's letter:

Reference is made to your 3 August 2007 letter to the undersigned which was written in response to my 16 June 2007 letter to MG Caldwell and my follow up letter to him dated 1 August 2007. When I wrote to General Caldwell I assumed what I wrote was important enough to the military establishment and to this nation's military personnel to elicit a response General Caldwell himself.
That said, I must quite accurately state that your letter did not, in any way, manner, shape or form, respond to the critically important content of my letter of 16 June 2007. It is a FACT that General William C. Westmoreland, as I quote him in my book the Victory Edition - Expendable Elite - One Soldier's Journey Into Covert Warfare (General Caldwell received his signed copy on 18 June 2007), actually admitted having had first hand knowledge of the enemy sanctuaries (safe havens) and secret bases that our government had provided the Viet Cong (as contained in his book A Soldier Reports of which your Center has 21 copies in their library). In addition General Westmoreland admitted to having had knowledge of our government's allowing the enemy to use the Mekong River as their major logistical supply route. As you will note in my book, the Mekong was in fact used to transport shiploads of weapons and ammunition to their forces inside the safe havens . Most importantly General Westmoreland writes that he was ordered not to tell the CONGRESS or the PRESS about our aiding of the enemy. Some good questions to ask yourself (you and General Caldwell) and to ask students in each class (after they has read the books noted) would and should be:
1. Why was General Westmoreland so intimidated that, instead of resigning and telling the press and the Congress the truth about the enemy safe havens, secret bases and use of the Mekong River, he himself aided the enemy by his silence as he played tennis in his protected base almost every day?
2. Who was it that gave him an order to aid the enemy and how could that be a lawful order?
3. If you had been in General Westmoreland's shoes - what would you have done?
4. Was it legal for the CIA to order an ARVN Regiment to attack my camp in An Phu?
5. Was I and my team (A-424) members right in standing firm against the order to abandon the Buddhist Hoa Haos and possibly get killed on the way to the B-Team in Chau Phu??
6. Should laws be passed to deny the enemy any aid and to prohibit the killing or wounding of our military personnel for any reason whatsoever, other than as specified during wartime in the Manual for Courts-Martial United States (AKA: the UCMJ)?
Colonel, how can you, in fact HOW DARE YOU, state without reservation, "Although we make use of a history course within the curriculum to help inform the judgment of our students, it is rather broad in scope - and generally does not get to the level of detail necessary to include discussion of operations such as the one described in your book." Will you please tell me, straight for the shoulder, did you or your General Caldwell read A Soldier Reports, (pages 218, 219, 220, 222, 223), and read where General Westmoreland writes, as I quote in Expendable Elite (pages 79, 83, 310), that he was aware of the enemy safe-havens, aware of the enemy secret bases inside Cambodia and was ordered not to tell the press or the Congress and yet neither you nor General Caldwell felt it necessary to do anything about it, and in particular, to not include the impact of these illegal acts and the potential for their being repeated, in your curriculum. Is that a fact?
Is it even of infinitesimal interest to the General and you that the CIA attempted to use me and my Buddhist Hoa Hao warriors to assassinate Cambodian Crown Prince Sihanouk? And, Just as important perhaps, is the fact that the CIA sent an ARVN Regiment to attack our camp in retribution for my unilaterally aborting the assassination plot, a fact which we proved in Federal Court last year of significance to your "instruction"? In fact the truth of our government's aiding the enemy in Vietnam was proven in the Charleston, SC United States Federal District Court on 30 January 2006 when the unanimous verdict of the jury cleared myself and publisher Kris Millegan of TrineDay Press in a $700,000 lawsuit engineered by the Special Forces Association in what I am certain in my mind was a vain attempt to have my book Expendable Elite - One Soldier's Journey Into Covert Warfare declared to be "100% lies" and to bankrupt my publisher and myself. As reported in part I of MR#14, I had written the military commanders of the Army War College, the Command & General Staff College, West Point Service Academy and the Special Operations Command. Having received no response by 1 August 2007 I wrote follow-up letters to MG David H. Hutton, Jr. (War College Commandant), General Bryan Brown (CG of the US Special Operations Command) who has since been replaced by Admiral Eric T. Olson, LTG Franklin L. Hagenbeck (West Point Superintendent), and MG William B. Caldwell IV (CG US Army Combined Arms Center). Thus far none of these ranking officers have responded. Only Colonel Thomas W. Weafer, Assistant Deputy Commandant of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College has written what I consider to be a letter of little value inasmuch as he does not relate to actions taken by the Commanding General in response to my communications with him of 16 June 2007 and 1 August 2007: all to do with our government's aiding the enemy and the killing of our own personnel.

Reference is made to your 3 August 2007 letter to the undersigned which was written in response to my 16 June 2007 letter to MG Caldwell and my follow up letter to him dated 1 August 2007. When I wrote to General Caldwell I assumed what I wrote was important enough to the military establishment and to this nation's military personnel to elicit a response General Caldwell himself.
That said, I must quite accurately state that your letter did not, in any way, manner, shape or form, respond to the critically important content of my letter of 16 June 2007. It is a FACT that General William C. Westmoreland, as I quote him in my book the Victory Edition - Expendable Elite - One Soldier's Journey Into Covert Warfare (General Caldwell received his signed copy on 18 June 2007), actually admitted having had first hand knowledge of the enemy sanctuaries (safe havens) and secret bases that our government had provided the Viet Cong (as contained in his book A Soldier Reports of which your Center has 21 copies in their library). In addition General Westmoreland admitted to having had knowledge of our government's allowing the enemy to use the Mekong River as their major logistical supply route. As you will note in my book, the Mekong was in fact used to transport shiploads of weapons and ammunition to their forces inside the safe havens . Most importantly General Westmoreland writes that he was ordered not to tell the CONGRESS or the PRESS about our aiding of the enemy. Some good questions to ask yourself (you and General Caldwell) and to ask students in each class (after they has read the books noted) would and should be:
1. Why was General Westmoreland so intimidated that, instead of resigning and telling the press and the Congress the truth about the enemy safe havens, secret bases and use of the Mekong River, he himself aided the enemy by his silence as he played tennis in his protected base almost every day?
2. Who was it that gave him an order to aid the enemy and how could that be a lawful order?
3. If you had been in General Westmoreland's shoes - what would you have done?
4. Was it legal for the CIA to order an ARVN Regiment to attack my camp in An Phu?
5. Was I and my team (A-424) members right in standing firm against the order to abandon the Buddhist Hoa Haos and possibly get killed on the way to the B-Team in Chau Phu??
6. Should laws be passed to deny the enemy any aid and to prohibit the killing or wounding of our military personnel for any reason whatsoever, other than as specified during wartime in the Manual for Courts-Martial United States (AKA: the UCMJ)?
Colonel, how can you, in fact HOW DARE YOU, state without reservation, "Although we make use of a history course within the curriculum to help inform the judgment of our students, it is rather broad in scope - and generally does not get to the level of detail necessary to include discussion of operations such as the one described in your book." Under God - or Under Uncle Sam?
As regular readers know, I have posted information in the past revealing that the "Pledge of Allegiance" is not as good as we have been programmed to believe for the last few generations. I came across this on another blog, and I have it posted below. The other blogger informed that it originally came from an email and that she was unaware as to who the author is.
So, I apologize in advance to the author for any errors contained below. However, the piece was so well written, and logical, that I felt it needed to be reprinted. And what better place than here? Italics were added for emphasis by me.

Let's keep God in America and lose the Pledge of Allegiance. Why should we get rid of the Pledge of Allegiance?
1. None of the Founding Fathers wrote the Pledge of Allegiance. The original Pledge of Allegiance was written in the early 1890's by a Yankee socialist defrocked preacher for the "benefit" of Southern school children.
2. We shouldn't pledge allegiance to a rectangular piece of fabric. We should pledge allegiance to God and merely salute the flag of a constitutional republic (assuming we had the flag of a constitutional republic to salute).
3. The United States, unfortunately, is not a true "republic" any longer. We lost that when the Union forced the Southern States to remain part of that which became the U.S. empire.
4. Union is good in a constitutional republic, but the United States should not be "indivisible" at the point of a bayonet.
5. While ideal, "with liberty and justice for all" is fiction in the United States today.
Yes, it's still "the best country in the world," but that's like saying that this snake is less poisonous than that snake. I don't like getting bitten by any of them. When we've lost the little that remains of true America, we won't be "the best country in the world" any longer; we'll be just another dictatorship. "Under God" is the only part from the Pledge of Allegiance that we should keep. Though most Americans would disagree with me about getting rid of the Pledge of Allegiance, that's my opinion. I wonder how the Founding Fathers would feel about it, considering that they preferred liberty over tyranny.

The first group of aborted babies who were buried at Holy Cross came from a 1984 incident in Milwaukee. A driver for a local laboratory, making rounds at a number of medical clinics and offices, picked up at one of her stops - a Milwaukee abortion mill - the bodies of aborted babies to be taken to the laboratory apparently for analysis and disposal. According to the news reports, the driver became nauseated as a result of the odor and decided to dump the tiny bodies into a dumpster located at one of her next stops. Later, some young children playing in the area looked into the dumpster and found what they later described to police as "little people".

Another rides the bus outta town
Today, the news media is having a hay day with the resignation of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. While Gonzales should have resigned a long time ago (actually, Congress should never have confirmed his nomination in the first place, but that is another discussion), today's announcement does come as somewhat of a surprise.
Gonzales is a long-time Bush crony, going back to the president's days as governor of Texas. Gonzales has served in a variety of legal positions throughout Bush's political career including legal counsel while Bush was governor, Texas secretary of state, Texas supreme court justice, legal counsel during first presidential term, and Attorney General during the second presidential term. None of which would probably have been possible if not for the close friendship the two have had for a number of years.
Gonzales has led a controversial career as the 80th Attorney General of the United States. His positions on domestic espionage and illegal immigration have routinely come under scrutiny. Calls for his resignation have been coming from Republicans, Democrats and Independents since his infamous non-testimonies before Congress.
Gonzales resignation comes at a very interesting time, I think. Karl Rove recently announced his resignation, and now Gonzales resigns. The timing is curious to say the least, and makes me ask two questions: 1. Are the rats just trying to get off the sinking ship before it goes under? And 2. Or, was this a forced resignation? Gonzales could be looking at his own political future, if there is one left. It would be in his best interest to get out before the end. However, the president could be trying to free himself of a lot of controversy by getting rid of two of the people who have gained him a lot of negative attention. He could be trying to do some house cleaning so that he can go out more popular than what he is now.
Whatever the reasons, it is good to see Gonzales out. You can read his resignation letter here.

Vagrants say they have nowhere to live besides North Bergen graveyard

In fact, the burial grounds near Kennedy Boulevard and 44th Street may be hosting approximately 135 people, almost all Latino males. Last month, a North Bergen woman was dragged into the cemetery and sexually assaulted by someone who obviously knew of the living arrangements there. While that person has not yet been found, a local church pastor told the newspaper at the time that as many as 30 or 35 people might be living there.

A large coalition of groups is running this TV ad in every region of the country through Labor Day and beyond. The ad includes a brief clip of the outrageous training conference in which a law firm teaches businesses how to avoid hiring American workers so they can import more foreign workers.
All of the presidential candidates will give lip service to American workers and their families on this coming holiday. But nearly all of them are making no promises to correct these abuses or to reduce the massive flow of foreign workers that has been depressing the wages of—and even taking the jobs away from—American workers. In fact, most of the candidates support increasing the flow of foreign labor competition.
More than 27 million jobs in the U.S. are now held by foreign workers while 54 million working-age Americans don't have a job.
