If a nation or an individual values anything more than freedom, it will lose its freedom; and the irony is that if it is comfort or money it values more, it will lose that too.

I place economy among the first and most important virtues and public debt as the greatest dangers to be feared.... We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our choice between economy and liberty or profusion and servitude.... The same prudence which in private life would forbid our paying money for unexplained projects, forbids it in the disposition of public money. We are endeavoring to reduce the government to the practice of rigid economy to avoid burdening the people.

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.

Replete with inherently religious terms like “heretical,” “moral,” and “spirit,” Gore’s book virtually qualifies as a sacred text. However, the religion that Gore espouses is hardly amicable to Christianity. Gore assails Christianity for the purported suppression of the “goddess religion,” which he contends provided humanity with a "spiritual sense of our place in nature" (260). Why the illegals must go!

From Americans for Legal Immigration--

April 19, 2007
by William Gheen
President, Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC)
www.alipac.us

Today, Americans face an unprecedented illegal immigration crisis facilitated by multi-billion dollar drug and human importing cartels as well as corporations which are inducing the invasion by aiding and abetting illegal aliens and using their influence on the Executive Branch and elections to paralyze existing immigration laws supported by over 80% of the American citizenry.

These events are not random and chaotic. Massive illegal immigration is the result of non-enforcement and under-enforcement of our existing immigration laws.

Supporters of illegal aliens love to claim that our immigration system is broken. The system is not broken. Elite financial and political business interests who could care less about the death and devastation they are causing Americans have sabotaged the system. Their profits continue to rise as they send the rest of America spiraling downward on a path to anarchy and Third World quality-of-life conditions.

By using their influence to suspend our existing laws, these globalist special interests have deprived all Americans of political representation as well as their votes, their voice, and a functioning Republic for which our flag stands.

When the laws of the American people – debated and voted on by their duly-elected Congressional Representatives and signed into law by the President – go intentionally under-enforced by the Executive Branch, all of the principles, sovereignty, and self-governance of Americans are derailed. The will of the American public, the existing laws, the US Constitution, and the borders of our great nation are perceived as market hindrances to the global elite. We the people of America are perceived as peasants and subjects beneath the power of their influence.

The American public has spoken through our lawmakers and in numerous polls. A super majority of Americans want our existing laws enforced, those responsible for illegal immigration fined and/or imprisoned, the borders secured, and illegal aliens deported from the United States for many years or permanently. These fact remain, despite several politicized polls which attempt to manufacture consent and make you believe such views represent a minority.

The truth is that most Americans want the illegal aliens to return to the nations of which they are citizens. The rallying cry is: "Illegals Go Home!"

We could easily list 101 reasons why Americans are upset about illegal immigration. Most are concerned about the 4,000+ preventable deaths of Americans by the criminal acts of illegal aliens on our soil each year. No corporate propaganda will change the fact that most Americans do not want to surrender or capitulate to the lawless masses rushing into our nation.

No poll or politicized source is needed to prove this point because the decision is based upon our nation's successful history and basic common sense. The answer is based on something that every judge, lawmaker, and even street thug knows. The penalties must outweigh the benefits if you want to deter any action.

It is common sense and common practice in America that for any law to be a deterrent, two important factors are in play. First, the laws must be enforced, and second, the penalties for any crime must exceed the benefits to those breaking the law.

It is truly amazing that we find ourselves as a nation having to explain these basic foundations of law to corporations and politicians in the year 2007 despite their existence since the dawn of civilization! Can you imagine what would happen in America if the penalty for robbing a bank was that you had to return half of the money you stole if, and only if, you were apprehended for the crime? What if the penalty for car theft was paying a $2,000 fine if you were caught with the stolen vehicle?

The answers are clear. Within a month, you would not have a bank open in America and you would not be able to keep a car worth more than $2,000 in your driveway for more than a week. How many millions of people would quickly take up the careers of bank robber and car thief once the rewards for the crime were higher than the penalty?

If American businesses and homes left their windows and doors unlocked each night and robbers were merely removed by police when detected – only to try again the next night – what do you think would happen? If big, global businesses practiced the same non-enforcement of security similar to the lack of border security and lack of immigration enforcement they have facilitated for Americans, they would be out of business in a matter of days or weeks. If they left their doors unlocked at night and just pushed people back to the street, America would quickly descend into such chaos and anarchy that we would be unable to sustain a population of 300 million. Our population would take a hit similar to the impact of the Black Plague on Europe, and we would quickly enter a new dark age.

Since illegal aliens can never afford to compensate Americans for what they have taken, they must go. We do not need to go door to door looking for illegals to deport in America. Attrition through enforcement works. Illegal aliens are leaving the states of Georgia and Pennsylvania in droves, not because they are enforcing the laws but because they have simply announced they plan to start!

Unfortunately, the current state of affairs in America has illegals flooding in by the millions each year and many law-abiding Americans fleeing the states of California and Texas and many towns and cities in search of more safety and security. Many Americans are on the run and finding few places left to run to.

The illegal aliens are sending a clear message on the streets of Los Angeles and other major urban centers. They are saying: "This is our land. White, black, and legal Hispanics get out!"

This is great news for the housing and real estate markets, Wal-Mart, and McDonalds. They are growing the economy using rapid population growth. This is great news for big corporations and bad news for Americans.

Attrition through enforcement will work. In fact, if President George Bush were to announce on national television that America would begin securing our borders and enforcing our existing laws in one month, so many illegal aliens would leave America that Mexico would have to set up refuge stations!

Another important reason that the illegal aliens must leave for the long term is that they'll return to their home communities with a message for their neighbors that their ill-gotten gains did not pay off in America. This is the only thing that will stop, or slow, the flow. Deporting illegal aliens and sending them packing is the only real way we can put a stop to this crisis.

The politicians in DC are very aware that Americans want the illegal aliens to go. That is why their latest Scamnesty legislation includes a “touchback” provision. Under these laws, the illegal aliens can hop across the Mexican or Canadian borders where special "Ellis Island" stations are set up for them to pay a fine, receive new documentation and be back in the US within days or hours.

The lunatics advocating this plan are counting on Americans to be so stupid and so gullible that they can say, "Look, the illegals left and walked back in legally. Problem solved!" They are eager to pretend to accommodate the American desires for the illegals to leave while quickly returning their slave labor force to our nation.

They know that Americans want illegals to leave and get behind a long line of legal immigrants waiting to enter the US, including millions of people who have been waiting 5-10 years. These politicians and the illegal aliens need to be shown the way to the back of the line. The back of the line is back in the country in which they are citizens, 5-10 years down the road behind all of the talented and law-abiding people who respect our laws.

If these traitorous corporations and politicians succeed in setting up these Ellis Island stations for “Operation Touchback," the revered symbol of Ellis Island will take on a new meaning that Americans see with contempt and resentment. Ellis Island will become a name associated with the horrendous betrayal of free Americans and the deathblow to the American Republic. This is a symbol of America’s surrender and the subjugation of all her people.

If we allow the politicians in DC to sign off on the many Guest Worker, Temporary Worker, Path to Citizenship, Amnesty, Scamnesty bills written by the US Chamber of Commerce, then no wall with an army on top of it will stop the next 20 million from crashing down on our country. We will have signaled that America is weak and will capitulate and accommodate. Already, the word is out in Central and South America that they can come and stay. Each time President Bush has opened his mouth about such programs, the US Border Patrol reports massive spikes in illegal crossings.

Since there is literally no end to the stream of illegals who want to be in America, this will be the end of America as we have known it and as history has praised it.

In the past, when America has cracked down on illegal immigration and the American people have signaled they want the immigration brakes applied, the policies have worked. New laws written near the turn of the 20th century greatly reduced the amount of immigration into America. When Presidents Franklin Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower launched large deportation campaigns in the 1950s and 1930s, illegal immigration slowed to minuscule levels as a result.

Whether you agree or disagree with the decisions of the past, these policies were part of the successful formula that have led America to become the most opulent and successful civilization in human history.

While some argue that these enforcement measures were racist and that some American citizens of different races were improperly deported at the time, we now have the technology and methodology in place to assure that American citizens and legal immigrants are not improperly affected by our immigration enforcement efforts.

The difference in 2007 is that the globalist corporations that have hijacked the American government want to stop the American citizenry from applying the brakes this time. They have taken away our ability to determine who can enter our nation and our ability to stop armed and unarmed invasions as granted by the US Constitution.

To take away the self-governance of Americans is to kill the very thing that has made us such a great and successful nation.

In a time of crisis like this, we must stand firm on the principles that have made America an attractive and great nation. We must stand firm on the rule of law. The law must be applied equally to big corporations and illegal aliens alike lest we all become slaves subject to the plans of masters instead of a free and empowered citizenry.

Illegal aliens and corporations must endure penalties for their illegal, deadly, and destructive actions that exceed the benefits they gain from their illegal activities.

The hour is late and it is time for Americans to stand up and say with one voice...

No Amnesty! No Guest Worker! Secure our borders and enforce the existing laws! Restore the American Republic!

The illegals must go.

Illegals go home!

Mustang Report #3, Part iv

The CIA Versus "Expendable Elite" :The post-trial actions of the SFA that deny the truth!

by Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Marvin, US Army (Retired)
Author of Expendable Elite - One Soldier's Journey Into Covert Warfare

910909 GD/CL Alicia Cooper, director of the West Coast office of the International Rescue
Committee, sent me a Certificate of Appreciation as a “small token of recognition for all you have done and all you have accomplished in the years since 1978. I do believe that you have done more than any one individual can possibly do vis a vis such powerful forces.” What she was speaking of was my efforts to help South Vietnamese who had been in my independent An Phu operation into this country: in particular clearing General Dang and bringing him across the border from Montreal, fighting to get LTC Phoi Van Le into this country when Henry Kissinger had ordered the International Rescue Committee (he was a board member) to cease and desist on helping Le. Le is the only many alive outside the CIA (Specifically Walter Mackem) who can testify before Congress that we were asked to assassinate Cambodian Crown Prince Norodum Sihanouk in June 1966.

911111 EE I wrote James A Taylor telling him that I was “disappointed and shocked” that my team members had allowed themselves to be intimidated, told him “Silence is an act of complicity if one is hiding pertinent truths. My five best friends died in South Vietnam,” I added, concluding “I could use some help, Jim.” No response.

94 DE Information received from David MacMichael (1109 S Street, NW, Wash., D.C. 20009.
Tel: (202) 797-1081) included discussion on Operation Cherry – a three pronged operation designed to assassinate Cambodian Crown Prince Sihanouk and to accomplish other covert objectives. He told me to contact Captain John McCarthy – the man who headed up the Saigon end of Operation Cherry. Lived at 3628 Colonial Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90006. Tel: (310) 397-1143. David could not give me details inasmuch as he was working for the CIA and heading up the Bangkok, Thailand part of Operation Cherry. Having signed a secrecy oath he’d told me all he could.

Why has the world press refused to publish the truth?

General William C. Westmoreland, as Commander of all American Forces in South Vietnam from June of 1964 through March of 1968, aided the enemy by permitting them safe havens inside the Cambodian territory and permitting that same enemy the unrestricted use of the Mekong River to transport war materiel through South Vietnam to resupply their men in their sanctuaries inside Cambodia. It seemed obvious to me, after putting all of the facts together, that General Westmoreland considered his own position, rank and place in history more important to him than the lives of the Allied fighting personnel, particularly the combat infantrymen, and South Vietnamese civilians. He should have demanded an end to President Lyndon Johnson’s provision of safe-havens and protected supply routes to the enemy. Lacking positive action by the President, General Westmoreland should then have resigned publicly. He should have honestly informed the American people that he was leaving the service not wanting to be a part of the sham that was Vietnam. He knowingly supported the enemy by enforcing the provision of safe havens and protecting shipping routes for enemy war supplies while subjecting our forces to death and injury. My four best friends are listed as KIA on The Wall – all combat infantrymen. Perhaps if they had been given the opportunity to fight on a level field of battle, they and tens of thousands of others would yet be alive and the nation of South Vietnam would yet exist today. Corroborated proof of my direct knowledge of General Westmoreland’s acts to encourage and assist the enemy is contained in the Victory Edition, Expendable Elite - One Soldier's Journey Into Covert Warfare.

On page 180 of General Westmoreland’s nonfiction book A Soldier Reports © 1976, Doubleday & Company, Inc. he states rather matter-of-factly and very clearly that the enemy’s obvious use of Cambodia as a sanctuary and refusal of Washington authorities to allow me to do anything about it was frustrating. He went on to write of the proof of major shipments of arms and other supplies reaching the VC via international shipping passing through South Vietnam up the Mekong... It may have been “frustrating” to General Westmoreland, but his lack of action to deny the enemy sanctuaries and a protected supply route was indeed deadly to many tens of thousands of fighting men who depended on him for leadership. From what I was told by officers in Saigon in 1966, General Westmoreland couldn't have been too frustrated or he would have denied himself the playful pleasures of a daily tennis routine.

Strangely enough, on pager 261 of that same book, General Westmoreland tells of a quotation of Napoleon Bonaparte that was under a panel on [his] desk The quote: "A commander-in-chief cannot take as an excuse for his mistakes in warfare an order by his sovereign or his minister, when the person giving the order is absent from the field of operations and is imperfectly aware or wholly unaware of the latest state of affairs. It follows that any commander-in-chief who undertakes to carry out a plan which he considers defective is at fault; he must put forward his reasons, insist on the plan being changed, and finally tender his resignation rather than be the instrument of his army’s downfall."

The lack of strong moral leadership in this four star general is typified by his own admission in his book on page 220: "For long all we could do to the enemy in Cambodia was drop propaganda leaflets on our side of the border whenever the wind was right to blow them across." And, he states unequivocally on page 222, "My every request to inform the world press of the enemy’s use of Cambodia was denied…" Why didn't he resign, tell the press and the Congress and give our forces the right to win that war?

Another fact of life in South Vietnam at the time I served as a Green Beret in An Phu and Chau Doc was the lack of routine resupply of Special Forces units in the delta area by General Westmoreland’s Army depot in Saigon. This was a great cause of concern to me when I moved to Team B-42 in Chau Doc City and assumed responsibility for logistical support of Special Forces in the C-4 region of IV Corps Tactical Zone. In fact we ended up borrowing an LCU, going down river from Chau Doc to the Saigon Depot where we borrowed two of the depot’s 2½ ton trucks and drove past fearful guards to pick from the depots stock what we desperately needed. We loaded sand bags, small generators, pallets of ammunition and other miscellaneous “stuff” on their trucks and then onto the LCU and traversed the Mekong and Bassac Rivers back to Chau Doc, unloaded at the B Team dock and returned the LCU to where it was originally moored. Could this be corroborated? Yes - Within a year of my return to the United States I was attending the US Army Quartermaster Career Course at Fort Lee, Virginia. Colonel Pieklik, the commander of the Saigon Depot at the time we were forced to steal those supplies, was courses' final guest speaker. He stood in front of our class and opened the floor to questions at the end of his prepared presentation. I, as class president, fielded the first question: Why had he shut off the supplying of our Green Beret camps in IV Tactical Zone in1966? I was impressed with the fact that he answered unequivocally, telling our class that the reason his depot was not supplying the Special Forces needs in the IV Tactical Zone (the entire delta area) was that General Westmoreland had personally ordered him not to. He explained how Westmoreland’s futile attempts to convince the Commanding General of IV Tactical Zone (Lieutenant General Quang Van Dang) of the need to permit the use of conventional American forces in the delta had angered him to the extent that he denied logistical support of all unconventional forces in the Delta area.

What kind of man would deny war supplies to men in battle because he didn't get his way with a foreign general? On 28 June 2005 I initiated action to request that an investigation of both General Westmoreland and LTC William Tuttle (lead plaintiff in the lawsuit against Kris and me) be conducted for General Court Martial action against them for aiding and abetting the enemy. General Westmoreland passed away on 18 July 2005 and I continued the action request against Colonel Tuttle. In a 20 January 2006 letter from Colonel Flora D. Darpino, Chief of the Criminal Law Division of the Office of the Judge Advocate General of Department of the Army, my request was denied. Each of you who read this should know it was denied - in Colonel Darpino's words "Colonel Tuttle declined to invade or fire into Cambodia [where the enemy sanctuaries were] based upon lawful military orders from his superiors." She went on to write "Soldiers are not permitted to disobey lawful orders merely because they disagree with the policies adopted by their superiors, regardless if the superior is military or civilian.: PLEASE write and ask those leaders in Washington "Is the President going to order or allow other below him to order that enemy forces be given sanctuaries and forbid our armed forces from fighting back at that enemy who is bent on killing our men and women.?

I am just plain fed up with our leaders not allowing our forces to win against an enemy they protect!

Together we can make a difference!

Protection, Disarmament and Massacre
by Anthony Gregory

Gun control does not protect the innocent. It only renders the innocent all the more defenseless, empowers law enforcement in totalitarian ways, and facilitates the further construction of the police state. It is only one aspect of how the state claims to protect us, yet it only does the opposite. There is no more important time to stand up for liberty than when crisis endangers it most. It is also an important time to reflect on how the state's culture of obedience, blind trust in authority, centralized control and individual disarmament has actually rendered us less secure against threats both foreign and domestic.

Aftermath Of Tragedy: GOA Defending Freedom

Gun Owners of America
Tuesday, April 17, 2007

Our hearts and prayers truly go out to all of those affected by Cho Seung-Hui's evil actions. But not even senseless, brutal murder justifies taking away the God-given rights of the law-abiding.

It is also worthwhile to note that Virginia Tech is -- because of deliberate policies set by its administration -- a victim disarmament zone, where even those with a state-issued concealed carry permit are denied their right of self-defense.

In fact, pro-gun forces just last year tried to get the Virginia legislature to address the problem. The bill to allow permit holders to carry on state-supported college campuses died, due in no small part to rabid opposition from Virginia Tech itself.

VT spokesman Larry Hincker put it this way after it became obvious that the bill would not pass: "I'm sure the university community is appreciative of the General Assembly's actions because this will help parents, students, faculty and visitors feel safe on our campus."

The unfortunate irony continues when one recalls that not long ago, two students at nearby Appalachian School of Law managed to stop a gunman at that institution. Happily, they were able to dash off-campus to retrieve their guns from their vehicles.

Four GOA spokesmen (one based in downtown D.C. and three at our Springfield, VA office just outside the Beltway) are working non-stop -- doing literally interview after interview -- making certain that the above points reach the public.

GOA has appeared on Fox News, ABC, CNN, BBC -- lots of alphabet soup networks -- as well as countless talk shows like Michael Reagan and Lars Larson.GOA spokesmen have been heard in every major radio market around the country and have done interviews with large print media outlets, such as the Associated Press and U.S. News & World Report.

The overall message that GOA is delivering is that gun prohibitions are part of the problem, not the solution.

We can expect some forms of new gun control to be pushed in the U.S. Congress. The Democrats control Congress, but more importantly, anti-gun politicians control the Democrat party. If House Speaker Nancy Pelosi -- certainly no friend of gun owners -- gives free rein to virulently anti-gun House Judiciary Chairman John Conyers (D-MI), literally anything can make it to the floor of the full House.

Conyers' counterpart in the Senate is Judiciary Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-VT), whose GOA rating of "F" is well-deserved. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada has also earned an F. Gun owners will have to be especially vigilant in the coming weeks to block any new attempts to infringe upon the Second Amendment.

And whereas the predictable media stampede to give voice to the possibility of such new gun control is certainly there, it does not seem to have the same "this simply must happen now" tone that it did after the Columbine tragedy in 1999. Indeed, the idea of firearms for self-defense in schools is gaining serious traction. Which should not be all that surprising, given a Research 2000 poll which showed that 85% of Americans find it appropriate for a principal or teacher to
use "a gun at school to defend the lives of students" in stopping a massacre.

ACTION: For now, stay tuned for future alerts. (If any anti-gun bills start moving on Capitol Hill, GOA will be counting on you to contact your legislators in record numbers.) And pray for all of those whose loved ones were injured or killed at Virginia Tech.

The answer lies in the gun laws themselves. Schools are one of the best places to commit murder with a gun because guns are not allowed in schools. Criminals with the intention of killing in a school know they will be unmolested until the police are called and the criminal eventually shot. This allows ample time to invoke tragedy on countless families, just as the horrific events this morning in Blacksburg.

Ban People – They Kill
by Paul Craig Roberts

England has discovered the truth of the NRA’s motto – "When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns." The gun ban has only disarmed the honest citizens. Drugs are banned, but they are available almost everywhere, as was alcohol during Prohibition. If a deranged person can’t obtain a black market gun, he will make a bomb.

Butchers With Immaculate Hands

Yet I will be willing to bet that Hincker's and Denton's take on this preventable tragedy is that there wasn't enough gun control, that we need to disarm potential victims even more. That's like saying disarming Jews prevents Nazi death camps. For Nazis are never deterred unless it's by anti-Nazis with more and bigger guns of their own. The same goes for criminals. Thus has it always been. Campus police cannot be everywhere at once, armed citizen-students with concealed carry permits can.

AS USUAL, NOBODY HAD A GUN
Carl Worden

To be certain, there will be yet another call for gun control over this incident, which translates as follows: The citizens who are afraid of guns and don’t want to have them, will try to impose their will on everybody else, making us all sitting ducks for the next gunman to slaughter.

It's Dark Outside

Today, people all across America, and even throughout the world, are trying to make sense out of yesterday's insane rampage. A lot of fingers are already starting to be pointed, and a lot of accusations will probably be made in the coming days, weeks and months. Some of the accusations maybe justified, many will not be justified.

Why would someone do something like this? There's only one answer - sin. The destructive spirit of our sin nature causes people to do many unspeakable things. Taking the life of another without just cause, is about the worst thing many do to others everyday. When our sin is multiplied with Satanic influence, unstable minds, and real or perceived wrongs, the consequences tend to be horrific.

Today, we often try to explain away our sin. We blame it on our childhood, our parents, our circumstances, our disabilities, medical and mental problems. Sometimes bad things did occur. Most of the time, we are just making excuses for our actions. We are programmed from our childhood that we are no longer responsible for our actions. That if we are placed in a good environment, and take enough drugs, we will be respectable citizens. That sounds nice, but it is still wrong.

Could the tragedy at Virginia Tech have been prevented? Probably. But, hindsight is always 20/20. It is possible that had someone paid attention to what now is being revealed about the killer, that this entire episode could have been avoided. It is also possible that had staff and faculty members been allowed to carry firearms that the casualties could have been minimal. It is also possible that had someone reached this young man with the Gospel of Jesus Christ then we would not be speaking or writing of this. The "what if's" are endless in supply.

Sadly, many, and I fear the anti-gun advocates in particular, will use this for political capital. I am afraid that many will use this situation as proof that "guns kill people" and that if guns are taken away, then our streets, schools, homes and businesses will be safer. We will never be safe, for one who desires to kill others will always find a way to do the awful deed.

As we look on this situation, it is apparent that this world is getting more evil every day. It is very dark outside, and until the Lord returns, it will only get darker.

Registry would treat gun owners like criminals
Christian Berg

Last month, a group of six state lawmakers introduced legislation that would require the annual registration of virtually every privately-owned firearm in the state. Those who would refuse to register their guns would become criminals, and those denied registration certificates for any reason would have their guns confiscated by the government.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry's Dangerous Database
By Jake Bernstein

Piece by piece, Gov. Rick Perry's homeland security office is gathering massive amounts of information about Texas residents and merging it to create the most exhaustive centralized database in state history. Warehoused far from Texas on servers housed at a private company in Louisville, Kentucky, the Texas Data Exchange -- TDEx to those in the loop -- is designed to be an all-encompassing intelligence database. It is supposed to help catch criminals, ferret out terrorist cells, and allow disparate law enforcement agencies to share information. More than $3.6 million has been spent on the project so far, and it already has tens of millions of records. At least 7,000 users are presently allowed access to this information, and tens of thousands more are anticipated.

WHY RAPISTS & ROBBERS RAN FROM ONE FLORIDA TOWN
By Joel Turtel

"...About five years ago the previous Mayor passed gun laws that made it illegal to have a gun in the house, and illegal to use one against a burglar. He also made it illegal for anyone to carry a concealed gun outside the house. That’s when our troubles started, Mayor.”
