What Are THEY Afraid Of?
Earlier this week, a friend of mine sent me an email with several links about a verbal attack against two of his sons. I have read some of the comments posted to their blog, as well as other places on the World Wide Web where the two have been attacked. Many comments were vicious, hateful, rude and cruel...to say the very least. But, what did two teenagers do to rank such an assault against their beliefs and mentalities?
Apparently, it all started when they chose to post an article on their blog entitled, "Evolution Isn't Even Logical", by a Mr. Art Kohl. I am not familiar with Mr. Kohl, but he did an excellent job of showing how evolution is illogical. Near immediate shockwaves reverberated around the blogosphere, and with those shockwaves came attacks. The typical name-calling was evident, as is normally the case when you simply state how brainwashed ideas are illogical.
As I read many of the comments, I was humored that many of those who claimed the two boys were lacking in smarts, were themselves not intelligent enough to realize (as was clearly posted) that the two boys had not even written the article!
So, why the attack? Fear. People are always afraid of their indoctrinated beliefs being challenged. People wish to have your freedoms of speech curbed when you challenge them. But somehow, it is OK for them to continue to spout their illogical insanities. Evolution is an indoctrinated belief that is bashed into young heads from an early age, and whenever it is challenged people tend to react with a fearful rage. They are fearful that their world built by humanism and atheistic principles will crumble around them, and that is too much for many to handle.
So, why not be receptive to the idea that just maybe the Bible is true, and that Creation is the reality? Unless that person first trusts Christ as their Saviour, that will not happen. People would rather believe a lie that is pleasant to their minds, than to the reality of Truth - that there is a Real God, and He just may be coming back as a Judge of all Mankind.

The true war against America is currently being won by the enemy. The president, Congress, our governors, state legislatures and much of our local law enforcement have all committed treason. Why Freedom Will Never Come To Iraq
A lot has been made of Iraq once again in the last few weeks. President Bush has decided to send some 21,500 more troops to Iraq. The Democrats want all troops to be brought home, so they say. Others say this, and others say that. Many generals have said that more troops is not what is needed. They are probably the only ones who are right for good reasons. The military isn’t allowed to fight, only be targets or to play “patty cakes” with the warring Sunnis and Shiites.
The fact is, it doesn’t matter how many troops are sent, or what high-tech weaponry is used, there will never be victory, and definitely not freedom in Iraq. The Bible makes this plain in two separate passages of Scripture. No matter how “justified” we feel that we are in doing so, we can never nullify a Biblical principle. What God has said is final, no matter how uncomfortable it makes us.
They are a wild people
“And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction. And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.” Genesis 16:11 & 12
God was comforting Hagar, Sarah’s servant, to let her know that she and her unborn child would survive. God was not only telling what her son would be like, but what her son’s descendants would be like as well.
The majority, if not all Iraqis, are descendants of Ishmael, and like their father, they are a wild people. The Middle East has always been in a state of war and turmoil because of the “wildness” of the people who live there. They cannot be controlled; they will not follow any law but their own, and will fight anyone who tries to “make” them. The Islamic religion is perfect for them because it places no hold on the wildness of Ishmael. Ishmael cannot be tamed, nor does he wish to be.
The Bible also says “his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him”. Ishmael will always be at a constant state of war, sometime even against himself. No peace cannot and will not ever be forged with any Arab nation. The French tried to pacify the Arabs and failed. The British tried and failed as well. The Americans will also fail, but Ishmael would rather fight. We can send millions of troops, drops thousands of tons of bombs, and Ishmael will continue to fight, and as long as we are over there, we will have to fight him.
It is impossible to bring peace to a people who do not want your peace. If you cannot bring peace, then you can never bring freedom to that people. We can continue to beat our heads against the wall, but that will not phase Ishmael at all. He will continue to fight, because his “hand is against us”.
Liberty cannot dwell here
One other verse goes a long way in explaining why there will never be freedom in Iraq. II Corinthians 3:17 says, “…Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
The only reason why any country has ever or will ever have liberty and freedom is when the Gospel of Jesus Christ is spread abroad throughout that nation. America has been able to enjoy freedom and liberty because at the Founding of the Republic, and throughout much of our history America has been populated with a majority of Christians. The very ideas of liberty and freedom are taken directly from the Word of the Living God. If the Candle of Liberty is put out in America, it will be because the Spirit of the Lord no longer dwells here.
Islam, however, is the religion of a false god, the moon god named Allah. Liberty can never exist there, as long as Islam is the religion of the people. If we want freedom to come to Iraq, then we should “bombard” Iraq with the Gospel, not missiles.
So, Mr. President, Congress, the US military, do whatever you wish, but it will never work. Fellow citizens of America support Bush and the war all you wish, but there will never be peace. Ishmael is a wild man, and the Spirit of God is not there.

And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.” Genesis 16:11 & 12
God was comforting Hagar, Sarah’s servant, to let her know that she and her unborn child would survive. God was not only telling what her son would be like, but what her son’s descendants would be like as well.
The majority, if not all Iraqis, are descendants of Ishmael, and like their father, they are a wild people. The Middle East has always been in a state of war and turmoil because of the “wildness” of the people who live there. They cannot be controlled; they will not follow any law but their own, and will fight anyone who tries to “make” them. The Islamic religion is perfect for them because it places no hold on the wildness of Ishmael. Ishmael cannot be tamed, nor does he wish to be.
The Bible also says “his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him”. Ishmael will always be at a constant state of war, sometime even against himself. No peace cannot and will not ever be forged with any Arab nation. The French tried to pacify the Arabs and failed. The British tried and failed as well. The Americans will also fail, but Ishmael would rather fight. We can send millions of troops, drops thousands of tons of bombs, and Ishmael will continue to fight, and as long as we are over there, we will have to fight him.
It is impossible to bring peace to a people who do not want your peace. If you cannot bring peace, then you can never bring freedom to that people. We can continue to beat our heads against the wall, but that will not phase Ishmael at all. He will continue to fight, because his “hand is against us”.
Liberty cannot dwell here
One other verse goes a long way in explaining why there will never be freedom in Iraq. II Corinthians 3:17 says, “…Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
The only reason why any country has ever or will ever have liberty and freedom is when the Gospel of Jesus Christ is spread abroad throughout that nation. America has been able to enjoy freedom and liberty because at the Founding of the Republic, and throughout much of our history America has been populated with a majority of Christians. The very ideas of liberty and freedom are taken directly from the Word of the Living God. If the Candle of Liberty is put out in America, it will be because the Spirit of the Lord no longer dwells here.
Islam, however, is the religion of a false god, the moon god named Allah. Liberty can never exist there, as long as Islam is the religion of the people. If we want freedom to come to Iraq, then we should “bombard” Iraq with the Gospel, not missiles.
So, Mr. President, Congress, the US military, do whatever you wish, but it will never work. Fellow citizens of America support Bush and the war all you wish, but there will never be peace. Ishmael is a wild man, and the Spirit of God is not there.
