One major thing that is lacking in our nation, states, cities and towns and even churches is masculinity. Being a man is bashed on television, scorned in public, and is considered to not be very PC. The decline in masculinity runs parallel to the downward spiral of our Republic. God proclaimed that a nation that is anti-men is cursed. "As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." Isaiah 3:12
One way to restore masculinity to its rightful place is to teach our boys and young men about the Real Men of history. Thankfully, Cort Kirkwood has compiled a list of some of the greatest Real Men of American History. Kirkwood covers men like Francis Marion, David Crockett and Robert E. Lee. The following is the introduction to a review of this book with a link to the full review. I urge everyone to get this book, as the lives of these men will inspire everyone, but if you have sons, grandsons, or nephews, then I urge you to buy this book for them. Our young men desperately need to be taught about real manhood.
