Bigger. Badder. Better.

As you can see, The Swamp Fox Files has undergone a major renovation and makeover - all courtesy of the Mrs. Swamp Fox (I started to refer to her as the Mistress of the Swamp, seeing as how I am the Master of the Swamp, but she felt that term sounded bad. Women.). She has done an excellent job, and I greatly appreciate it.

This will continue to be a work in progress, especially in the next week or two, as I get used to the new set up.

I managed to lose all of my links, and html buttons, so I've got to get all of that up again. That ought to be fun (pure sarcasm).

Anyhow, I hope all of my regular readers, and even visitors, will like the new layout. I like it all, but I really love the new banner.

Anti-Freedom Quotes Vol. VI

"A total world population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal."
- Ted Turner, in an interview with Audubon magazine

"I just wonder what it would be like to be reincarnated in an animal whose species had been so reduced in numbers than it was in danger of extinction. What would be its feelings toward the human species whose population explosion had denied it somewhere to exist.... I must confess that I am tempted to ask for reincarnation as a particularly deadly virus."
- Prince Philip, in his Foreword to If I Were an Animal; United Kingdom, Robin Clark Ltd., 1986

"In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, in order to contribute something to solve overpopulation."
- Prince Philip, Reported by Deutsche Press Agentur (DPA), August, 1988

"I don't claim to have any special interest in natural history, but as a boy I was made aware of the annual fluctuations in the number of game animals and the need to adjust the 'cull' to the size of the surplus population."
- Preface to Down to Earth by HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, 1988

"Even though it is quite true that any radical eugenic policy will be for many years politically and psychologically impossible, it will be important for UNESCO to see that the eugenic problem is examined with the greatest care, and that the public mind is informed of the issues at stake so that much that now is unthinkable may at least become thinkable."
- Sir Julian Huxley, first Director General of UNESCO, 1946-1948.

"The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it."
- Margaret Sanger, outspoken atheist and socialist, founder of the Voluntary Parenthood League in 1914, and responsible for opening the first birth control clinic in the United States in New York City.

"It is now apparent that the ecological pragmatism of the so-called pagan religions, such as that of the American Indians, the Polynesians, and the Australian Aborigines, was a great deal more realistic in terms of conservation ethics than the more intellectual monotheistic philosophies of the revealed religions."
- Press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on the occasion of the "Caring for Creation" conference of the North American Conference on Religion and Ecology, May 18, 1990

"To keep global resource use within prudent limits while the poor raise their living standards, affluent societies need to consume less. Population, consumption, technology, development, and the environment are linked in complex relationships that bear closely on human welfare in the global neighbourhood. Their effective and equitable management calls for a systemic, long-term, global approach guided by the principle of sustainable development, which has been the central lesson from the mounting ecological dangers of recent times. Its universal application is a priority among the tasks of global governance."
- United Nations Our Global Neighborhood 1995

"I reject the idea that humans are superior to other life forms. . . Man is just an ape with an overly developed sense of superiority."
- Paul Watson, director of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and a founder of Greenpeace

"Under Socialism you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you liked it or not. If it were discovered that you had not the character and industry enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner. . . ."
- Bernard Shaw in his Intelligent Woman's Guide to Socialism and Capitalism, 1928.

Huckabee over Paul?

Recently, I have come across a lot of Christians and their pastors advocating everyone to dump Ron Paul, since he's a loser (it's impossible for him to win), and run to Mike Huckabee. After all, the former governor of Arkansas is a REVEREND himself, so that just makes everything peachy, right? No, it doesn't.

Mike Huckabee is no conservative. NewsMax, the neo-con propaganda mill, is even exposing Huckabee for what he really is - a fraud. That really says something about Huckabee, if even NewsMax says he's liberal.

While governor of Arkansas, Huckabee outspent his predecessor, William J. Clinton. Now, why would we want another one of those in the White House? Let me go a step further. Why would Christians want that in the White House? Of course, when you sell yourself out to the government via 501c3 incorporation, you'll follow after any one who promises you peace and prosperity.

Huckabee has also shown that he'll compromise on any issue at the drop of a hat. Huckabee acknowledged he didn't believe in evolution during one debate, and since that time, he has pretended he didn't say it. He has gone as far as to state that if elected, he will encourage evolution to continue to be taught, and insure the illegality of teaching Creation. Huckabee is wishy-washy. Just what we need, a president that goes where ever the wind blows.

One of the dumbest, and possibly most enlightening statements Huckabee has made is, "If FedEx can track a package to within an inch of where it is, at every moment, then we can figure out who's here in this country."

One has to wonder, what does Huckabee propose? Putting a bar code on everyone? Maybe a chip in their hands or foreheads?

If that doesn't bother you, then how about this: Mike Huckabee thinks of himself as being another Bill Clinton. Who's he kidding? There's no thinking to it! He is another Bill Clinton!

Chances are, you have already made up your mind about Huckabee and Dr. Paul. But just in case, I hope this information will help any reader to realize that Mike Huckabee is not a conservative.

"Iran will not attack" Israel

This is interesting. Today, while visiting New Yuck City, I mean, New York City, the president of Iran gave an interview to the Associated Press. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was invited to speak at Columbia University (interestingly enough, Chris Simcox, one of the founders of the Minutemen group, was invited as well, then told to get lost. But, that's another story).

This fellow is downright disturbing. He's nearly as weird as our own president (I wonder if there's some connection?). And is it just me, or is he always wearing that same Member's Only jacket? You'd think the figure-head leader of a powerful nation that rules its people with an iron fist would wear fancier clothes than jackets that went out of style when I was a kid!

Besides the way he is always dressed, he told reporters two things that really caught my attention.

Let's get the big one out of the way first. Mahmoud told reporters that Iran has no intentions of attacking Israel. Considering all the flaming rhetoric he has mentioned in the last couple of years, I want to know what changed his mind. Maybe it had something to do with that raid Israeli bombers made on Syria a couple of weeks ago. Then again, maybe canaries sing different tunes when they cross international waters.

Second matter. Mahmoud also told reporters that he didn't believe that the US was preparing to attack Iran! What?! Even I can see that the US is prepping for war. Well, maybe Mahmoud's body guards spotted that sniper on the roof across the street from him....

I wonder what he'll say when he gets back to Tehran.

The Doctor was in Chicago

Saturday, September 22, 2007, Ron Paul was in Chicago making a campaign stop. A good friend in the land of the North was kind enough to allow me to use some pictures he took from that event. If you notice, Dr. Paul has signed one of the posters.

It is great to see pictures like these, because it lets others know that there are many more supporters of Dr. Paul than just a few bloggers on the internet.
