Mattel recalling more Chinese-made toys

Mattel announced recalls Tuesday for 9 million more Chinese-made toys, including popular Barbie, Polly Pocket and "Cars" movie items, and warned that more could be ordered off store shelves because of lead paint and tiny magnets that could be swallowed.

Iranian Lightning, American Raptor
On Aug. 6, 2007, Iran’s state-run television announced that Iran has begun the large-scale domestic production of an indigenously designed combat aircraft. Dubbed the Azarakhsh (Farsi for "lightning"), the aircraft is reportedly designed for close air support.

One thing that comes across, especially in the interviews with Japanese teens at the beginning of the documentary, is how similar people are. The contemporary Japanese – dressed pretty much as American teens dress, and just as giggly and blank-minded as far as history is concerned – didn't have a clue as to the significance of Aug. 6, 1945.
